How many elective courses are included in the community services program?

Courses at Insight Training consist of learning theoretical knowledge and practical skills studied in a classroom or online (or a mix of both). This is accompanied by a work placement component where students demonstrate their ability to perform those skills over a set number of hours in a real work environment.

Most courses consist of a set number of core units (mandatory) and elective units (personal choice) that each student must pass successfully before completing their work placement.

The type and quantity of units differ with each course.

To understand more about the number of elective units in a particular course, please select the individual course page and refer to the ‘Course description’ section.
