Course Requirements
To attain the SIR30216 Certificate III in Retail, 13 units must be successfully completed comprising of 8 core and 5 elective units.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Individuals may undertake this qualification with little or no experience in the industry.
It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a year 10 level School Certificate or equivalent and the will be required to undertake a LLN and achieve an exit Level 2 or above score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in Reading and Numeracy, which will show that they have the capability to be successful in the course.

Work Placement
Participants must undertake a minimum of 36 hours (commencing after 4 weeks of class time to prepare student for their work placement). This work placement must be recorded in a work placement log book. A Insight Training Trainer/Assessor will visit participants in the workplace to assess the skills required in this qualification.
