About the Course

Now is the time to up-skill your skills and knowledge with a Certificate III in Retail. This course teaches you how to provide customer care, deal with the public, use retail technology, provide product and service advice, and handle money. You can pursue work in various retail store settings, such as specialty stores, supermarkets, department stores, and retail fast food outlets. Working at this level, you may be responsible for supervising other team members and monitoring day-to-day workplace operations. 

Course Structure

To attain the Certificate III in Retail, thirteen (13) units must be successfully completed, consisting of eight (8) core and five (5) elective units.

Course Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Individuals may undertake this qualification with little or no experience in the industry. It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a year 10 level School Certificate or equivalent and the will be required to undertake a LLN and achieve an exit Level 2 or above score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in Reading and Numeracy, which will show that they have the capability to be successful in the course.
