Course Requirements
To achieve a CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support, a total of 15 units of competency must be completed 10 core units, plus 5 elective units.

- CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support
Entry Requirements
The CHC30221 Certificate III in School Based Education Support consists of a range of practical tasks and in order to meet workplace experience and job role expectations, students should be physically, mentally and emotionally healthy to meet duty of care obligations.
It is preferred that applicants for entry to this programme will have obtained:
- A minimum of a school certificate or equivalent
National Criminal History Check / Working with Vulnerable People Check
Students will be required to complete and pass a Working with Children Check/Police Clearance in the state or territory that they are working in prior to commencing child related work (this includes work placement). Insight Training’s selection criteria will take into account various factors when deciding upon which students will be offered places in the program including;
- The students’ needs and desired outcomes
- The ability and commitment of the students to complete the course;
- Eligibility requirements listed in the applicable National Training Package;
- Students existing ability in the ACSF core skills, (learning, reading, writing, oral communication and numeracy)
Students not meeting these requirements will be directed to more suitable qualifications or skill development programs.
