Course Structure

To achieve a Certificate III In Individual Support (Disability), a total of fifteen (15) units of competency must be completed; nine (9) core units and six (6) elective units. This course accepts Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) as a way for students to receive credit for their previous education and experience.

Work Placement Requirements

To achieve this qualification, students must also complete 120 logged hours working in an Approved Service.

Course Entry Requirements

Anyone can apply. No prerequisites necessary. It’s preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent. Students will be required to complete and pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check, including a National Police Check in the state or territory that they are working in before commencing work.

It is preferred that students obtain a minimum school certificate or equivalent. Students will be required to complete and pass an NDIS Worker Screening Check, including a National Police Check in the state or territory that they are working in before commencing work.
