To attain the Certificate IV in Mental Health, 15 units must be successfully completed, consisting of eleven (11) core and four (4) elective units.

A minimum of 80 supervised working hours are required to complete this course. Work placement should be with an organisation involved in the delivery of mental health services to clients, such as aged care facilities, community mental health care services, residential mental health facilities or youth mental health services.
There are no education entry requirements for this qualification. Students must be 18 years old to enrol in this qualification. There may be additional entry requirements for this course. Please speak to your Course and Career Advisor for further information.

To enrol in the Certificate IV in Mental Health course at Insight Training, you must have completed Year 12 or equivalent.
