Types of traineeships we offer

School Based Traineeships

Our school based traineeships allows high school students to gain practical work experience while completing their education, providing your company with enthusiastic, fresh talent eager to learn and contribute. On successful completion trainees will earn a nationally recognised qualification tailored to your business needs, ensuring a competent and capable workforce.

School-based traineeships seamlessly integrate high school students into your workplace by allowing them to split their time between school and part-time employment (around 7.5 hours a week). This flexible arrangement ensures students can:

New Entrant Traineeships

A New Entrant Traineeship provides structured training and development supervised by experienced professionals, allowing trainees to develop their skills. In some cases, completing a traineeship may lead to full-time employment opportunities with the company or organisation offering the training.

New Entrant Traineeships provide training and work experience to individuals who are new to a particular industry or sector. These traineeships typically involve a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction, allowing trainees to gain practical skills while learning the theoretical aspects of their chosen field. Trainees are usually supervised by experienced professionals who can provide guidance and support as they develop their skills. 

New Entrant Traineeships are for individuals with little to no previous work experience in the field. To be eligible, a New Entrant Trainee must be:

Existing Worker Traineeships

An Existing Worker Traineeship allows current employees to further their skills and knowledge through structured training. The training is typically delivered on the job, allowing the employee to continue working while gaining new qualifications.

Existing Worker Traineeships provide existing workers with a combination of on-the-job training and classroom instruction, allowing trainees to gain practical skills while learning the theoretical aspects of their chosen field.
